Together for Women: A Lifebridge Conversation
About this Event Series
“Together for Women: A Lifebridge Conversation” is an annual event that raises awareness about the unique struggles women face when they experience homelessness and financial insecurity. Attendees will see how Lifebridge North Shore supports their journeys toward stability, hope, and dignity, with opportunities to donate and make a difference in their community.
Every year, we invite a panel of experts and women with lived experience to share their stories with attendees. This is your opportunity to understand your neighbors and the reality of homelessness more deeply.

2026: Aging with Dignity
"Aging with Dignity" focused on elderly women facing homelessness — those with complex health needs, those whose fixed incomes can't keep up with the rising cost of living, or simply those who cannot access the bunk beds or stairs commonly found in shelters. According to recent studies, homelessness in the Greater Boston Area rose by 67% between 2023 and 2024, and older adults at risk of homelessness is set to triple nationally by 2030. Now is the time to build community and supports that ensure everyone can age with dignity.
2025: Together for Women
In this inaugural Together for Women event, the panel discussion explored the multifaceted challenges women face on the path to stability, highlighting the need for trauma-informed care and community support. Panelists underscored that every woman deserves dignity, safety, and the opportunity to heal and rebuild.
