Lifebridge North Shore gives vulnerable people access to resources that provide safety and promote healthy physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional development. We believe in the fundamental worth and dignity of every human being.
Centers & Shelters
Over the last 50 years, Lifebridge North Shore has grown from one Salem soup kitchen to a network of shelters and centers serving the entire North Shore community. Our hubs in Salem, Beverly, and Gloucester make communities stronger by offering support, building trust, and creating connections for our most vulnerable neighbors.

Lifebridge Main Campus, located in Salem, provides emergency shelter, community meals, showers, permanent supportive housing, and a day resource center to individuals experiencing homelessness.

River House, located in Beverly, is a the only women’s shelter on the North Shore. Creating a women-only environment is not a preference; it is essential. Safety, privacy, and emotional security are key to recovery.
